The Regional Director of Incheon St. Mary’s Hospital, Hong Myeong-ok, Continues her 12-day Fasting in front of the Catholic Diocese of Incheon

 

The regional director of Incheon St. Mary’s Hospital, Hong Myeong-ok, has been fasting for 14 days as of December 29. The members of Incheon Citizens’ Social Organization has also been performing a relay fasting for the 96th day, demanding a resolution to the issues involving the Catholic Diocese of Incheon. Their demands include the cessation of human rights violation by the St. Mary’s Hospital and a resolution to the International St. Mary’s Hospital’s wrongful insurance claim.

KHMU has been urging the Diocese of Incheon, the organization that manages the two hospitals, to resolve these issues, but the bishop is not even allowing interviews on the matter.
